Rotary Mettupalayam  and Kovai Medical Center & Hospital (KMCH) have joined hands to launch Project Heal* in Coimbatore on February 4th ,2021– World Cancer Day.

 *HEAL* stands for 
 High Awareness, 
Early Detection, Affordable Treatment and Low Mortality of Breast and Cervical Cancer.

The major highlight of this project is a state of the art vehicle – a Mobile mammogram and cervical cancer screening Unit that will offer services to women (esp.rural) in 30,000 sq.kms around Coimbatore.

The project's objective is to detect breast cancer and cervical cancer in women at early stages and offer treatment.

The health camp,A mammogram test  & cervical cancer test held on 21st july 2023 at *METRO Matric. Hr. Sec.School, Mettupalayam.* 
The medical camp started its work around 9:30 in the morning.

A team of doctors and staff from *KMCH* conducted the medical examinations and screening session  for the school staff. All the staff were highly benefitted. 

Nearly 63 members of the school attended the health camp.
